At RaceD3, we're passionate about liveries and their history. Racing liveries pre-date WWI as a competitive way for countries to sport their nation’s colors. France and the blue Matra-Simca, Italy and their iconic red Ferrari, and the British with their British racing green. Fast forward to the 1960’s, Lotus changes the sport by debuting their iconic Gold Leaf Formula One race car. Add some sponsors and the rest is history.
Here at RaceD3, we have a unique way of bringing your creative car design into the digital world as a highly detailed digital rendering. We designed our client livery intake process to be as simple as possible by providing you with a 2D template to sketch down your ideas and send them back to us. This first step establishes the foundation for primary colors, numbers, sponsors, etc. Next we schedule a one-on-one digital creation session where we let you view our digital design screen so we can collaborate together for up to two hours. This allows for a near perfect first rendering.
Time is money and we love racing the clock just as much as any other racing enthusiast. With that in mind we created a simple billing solution for our livery design. To get started is a $250 non-refundable livery intake consultation fee. Once the intake process described above is complete, a hourly rate of $85 is accrued.

At RaceD3, we care about our customers and providing them with the appropriate files for their project.
Whether its for an apparel, digital, or livery design, or simply viewing one of our detailed SEO reports, understanding the different file types is vital in today’s digital world. Below is a quick comparison between the common file types used in digital design. For a more detailed description, check out our What file type do I need?
A vector file is a type of graphic that uses mathematical algorithms to create lines and shapes, allowing it to be resized without loss of quality. Common types of vector files include .EPS, .AI, .SVG, and .PDF. These are commonly used in logos or any graphic design needed in different sizes.
A raster file is composed of tiny squares or pixels that form an overall image. When these images are resized, especially when enlarged, the pixels become visible causing the image to lose its quality or look pixelated. Examples of raster files include .JPEG, .PNG, .GIF, .TIFF, and .BMP. They are typically used for photographs and digital artwork.
